Sandy Leong began creating jewelry for herself and friends back in 2004. The self-admitted "fashion addict" grew up in Anchorage, Alaska which only fueled her appreciation for nature and all things organic. Sandy graduated from Oregon State University and then took to the skies as a flight attendant. Traveling the world helped awaken Sandy's artistic side and gave her knowledge?of cultures abroad. Sandy lives in New York City with her husband Bob and their two children.

With both of Sandy's children in school, she began taking jewelry classes at the Jewelry Arts Institute in New York City. Sandy found that she had a real talent for creating unique jewelry. This year Sandy became a proud sponsor to TED (Technology, Entertainment, and Design). Sandy created and donated a series of pendants, bracelets, and lapel pins with the organization's signature logo. Sandy states that, "In addition to her worldwide travel, her children are her biggest inspiration to create beautiful jewelry."

A few months ago, Sandy contacted Bags, Inc. for some ideas on how to customize her packaging. She knew that she wanted a 3 x 4 cotton drawstring bag but wasn't sure how to make them her own. We received her unique artwork and sent it to our production team for brainstorming. Less than a week later we began printing 100 cotton muslin bags for Sandy's jewelry. The printing method included some new ideas including artwork heat transfer. After just two short weeks of production, Sandy had her bags in hand and thought that they were perfect for her jewelry line.
