Concertos in Chocolate was established in 1999 by Chris Widlar who combined her love of chocolates and an interest in culinary arts. She decided that the Boulder area provided a perfect niche for her chocolates and so Concertos in Chocolate was born. Their mission is to create only the highest quality chocolate products that are fresh, delicious and beautiful.

The hand produced chocolates combine European chocolate (which according to Chris is less sweet and more flavorful than American chocolate) with fresh whipping cream and butter. Pure flavors are added along with liquors and fruit purees to give distinctive tastes and textures to each mouth-watering piece. These European style chocolates are lovingly made the old fashioned way - by hand dipping in small batches - and then tested to ensure consistent high quality, both in flavor and in taste. The result of all the care and attention to detail are gourmet chocolates for a sophisticated palette.

Coming from a family of chocoholics myself, looking over the web pages made me drool! A choice of 15 different truffles makes it hard to decide between Champagne, Cognac and Amaretto with cookie crumbs. Over the past few years, Bags, Inc. has been supplying Concertos in Chocolate with polypropylene bags in various shapes and sizes. Chris and her staff pack the chocolates into the FDA approved bags before the product leaves the store. She also uses 3 x 3 x 2 Gift Boxes on various occasions and decorates the bags and boxes with Hunter Green Wraphia. Concertos also orders their White Crinkle Cut Shred used in the gift baskets for Bags, Inc.
