George Keeler and his wife Teri found the perfect location in the historic district of Niwot, Colorado in the old Niwot Tribune building. The wine shop opened it's doors in early November 2004, offering more than 300 world-class wines. Their knowledgeable staff offer their attention and expertise to help customers select wines to meet their individual tastes and needs. Before a wine is chosen, not only does George take into consideration the occasion and food paring, but also the customer's individual style.

Along with their wide selection of wines, La Cavasita (meaning small wine cellar in Spanish) offers a full range of wine accessories: wine racks, wine preservations systems, wine carriers, charms, books, journals and wine remover are a few of the items on their shelves. La Cavasita also carries a fantastic selection of Spiegelau glassware. Educational classes are also offered in wine selection, food & wine paring and cellaring. These classes are for both the novice and experienced wine enthusiast.

La Cavasita also works with local caterers for planning culinary gatherings, dinner parties and wine tasting. But you'll find other beverages to whet your pallets with as well. Beers from Left Hand Brewery, Ciroc Vodka, Balvenie Single Malt Scotch and Zaya 12 year old Rumand Patron Tequilas.
