Established in 1957 in Scottsdale, Arizona, Pinnacle Peak was a general store and rest stop for travelers and those visiting the nearby lakes. The owner decided to expand his operations and boost sales by serving dinner over the weekends. This small weekend operation flourished into the growing business it is today - currently seating 1,800 people inside and 2,000 people outside.

Visited by Bobby Flay for a segment of Hot and Spicy Fiesta Bon Appetit and featured in numerous national magazines, this western style steakhouse accommodates groups from 20 to 200 as well as providing dining for couples and families. PLEASE don't wear a tie! The cowboy hat wearing waiters carry large scissors and will chop those bad-boys off in in a nano-second, pinning the ends to the rafters! You can enjoy dinner just watching other people, or spend time dancing at any of the dance floors and spend time shopping in the gift shops. If you are part of a group - learn how to line dance, take part in a quick draw contest or even learn to harass like a cowboy.

So the accommodations are great - what about the food? Pinnacle Peak Patio is renown for it's simple menu of beef. Tender hand -cut beef steaks are grilled over and outdoor mesquite fire and if you're really hungry, try the two pound porterhouse! If you're after a burger, you can't go wrong with any of Pinnacle Peak Patio's perfectly made burgers. Not in the mood for beef? Try the smoked chicken or the babyback ribs with all the fixin's. Their western menu will satisfy most people's appetite.

Pinnacle Peak Patio began ordering their packaging from Bag in 1999. One of the bags has a very unique use. A natural kraft merchandise bag that measure 3.25 x 5.25 holds crayons for the kids coloring pack. These bags are printed with a western cowboy that has been a regular at the restaurant ever since - keeping the tradition for the kids!

Situated on East Jomax Road, Pinnacle Peak Patio Steakhouse and Microbrewery is a unique western experience that no one should miss. Check out their website at www.ppatio.com for more information on hours of operation, menus and reservations. Yee Haw!

For each month's featured customer, Bags tries to showcase a customer who has used a unique approach to their packaging, and to share a little about their business with you. Hopefully this provides a bit of insight to how other businesses select their packaging products and to how Bags can help you find the right packaging for your business. Perhaps you can find a business similar to yours among the companies listed here. We continually provide links (see right column) to the past year's selections ... but all our featured customers' pages are also available. Contact one of our sales consultants for more information.
