Customer of the Month
The Knitting Habitat The Knitting Habitat was opened by Grier Design Group LLC in May 2006. The Knitting Habitat is a yarn boutique for beginners and experienced knitters alike. Gina Grier and staff take pride in their shop as being the place for fine yarns, creativity, relaxation, and community in a contemporary environment. Knitters and crocheters are welcome to sit and knit with the help and guidance of The Knitting Habitat's supportive staff. Stop by The Knitting Habitat, it will be a truly memorable experience. The Knitting Habitat also offers frequent classes and workshops. From novice, to advanced knitter, there is always something new to learn. New or coming back to knitting? The Knitting Habitat has beginner classes every day! Be sure to check out all of The Knitting Habitat's May classes and workshops at www.knittinghabitat.com. Remember that The Knitting Habitat has movie night every third Friday of the month. Be sure to call and let them know you'll be there (303) 256-0200. The Knitting Habitat wanted a little bit lower profile packaging option. Who would want to conceal all of that beautifully colored yarn with a thick paper bag anyway? Gina Grier and staff decided to use a clear plastic retail bag with fold over reinforced die cut handles. The 9 x 12, 12 x 15, and 15 x 19 + 3 were the perfect sizes. This classy clear bag printed in metallic copper on one side makes this bag ideal for all of their colorful goodies! (Remember for the month of June Bags, Inc. is offering a FREE PLATE on any custom printed retail bag order!). The Knitting Habitat is also very excited about their new knitting/crocheting clubs at the shop. The purpose of these clubs is to provide a formal place for knitters and crocheters alike to get together for any reason and practice their craft without the distraction of family, kids, and those demanding fuzzy little animals. The following are just a few of the clubs offered right now: "Fingers, Fibers, and Fellowship", "The Habitat Sit and Knit," and "Mother/Daughter/Son Knitting."
