They began brainstorming about starting a business of their own. The idea of starting a tanning salon in gloomy Seattle sounded like a great idea. But the thought of opening a bead store not only appeared more profitable, but it also seemed like a lot more fun.

Sometime later the bead research began. Tim and Tom started visiting bead stores all over the Pacific Coast analyzing different themes and products. The one thing that was very apparent was the abundance of bead stores in the area. This meant that they needed to change the focus to location. Las Vegas offered a great atmosphere, a whole group of new people, and warm sunny weather.

In March of 2004, Tim and Tom were handed the keys to their new bead store. With renovations under way it was time to start filling the recently expanded walls with, you guessed it BEADS! Vegas Beads proudly opened their doors on May 1st 2004.

Whether you're a professional or a first time beader, Vegas Beads offers up to ten classes a month. You can also schedule a "one on one" class. There are always fun activities for kids to do while parents are shopping. Vegas Beads offers a special kids room with toys, movies, and video games to keep them busy.
