In 1984, a tenacious group of avid golfers banded together to create Golf Services, the golf shop their dreams. This 23 year-old business is every golfers dream - with golf pros to help make decisions, name brand equipment and an onsite driving range - what more could a golfer ask for?

Located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Golf Services specializes in selling name brand golf equipment custom fitted to the golfers needs. A golfer is evaluated through "swing analysis" in order to properly fit clubs to their particular golf swing. Demo clubs are then offered to the golfer to use before they purchase a new set of custom clubs. The custom sets are tweaked and finished and VIOLA! the perfect set of clubs!

For golfers who want to keep their own clubs, Golf Services provides re-gripping and re-shafting services. Most of these services can be handled within two business days. But don't think that they aren't going to try and sell new you new clubs! Every year various club manufacturers come onsite to present and promote their current product lines as well as give you a quick glimpse of what will soon be available.

Golfers looking for a few helpful hints to increase their handicap, can ask for advice from the two professional golf instructors. Bonnie Bryant and Joel Pinkham enjoy helping golfers perfect their swing or chip shot and have some great advice on sinking that final putt on the 18th green. Private or group lessons are available for the beginner, intermediate or advanced player.

Golf Services purchases both custom and stock plastic merchandise bags for their pro shop. The custom bags have a pre-printed coupon for a free bucket of balls at the driving range. These bags are donated by Golf Services to many tournaments in the area - boldly displayed in the golf carts and advertising Golf Services as the premier supplier in the Kalamazoo area. Now that is out-of-the-box thinking to promote a business.
