South Ridge Farms is a fourth generation family owned and operated fruit growing business. Founded in the early 1900's, South Ridge Farms is one of the first Western  commercial fruit growers. Their first crop was sour cherries, which remains their signature crop today. Historically, the cherries were sold and used in pie filling. After medical studies proved the healthful benefits of cherries, their popularity grew and they are sold in all different ways - dried, fresh, quick frozen and even in concentrate.

South Ridge Farms is not just a cherry orchard. Harvest time will find many varieties of apples and pears as well as asparagus, and pumpkins available in the farm store. All of these products are grown on the farm as well. South Ridge Farms chose to use a natural kraft shopper bag printed with a likeness of the landmark red barn that sits on the farm. The bag is printed in two colors, red and black, and they use all sides of the bag to brand their fruits.
