Amy, Susan and Diane first met a few years ago at a quilting retreat. During an unexpected trip to the emergency room, the three women bonded, discovering that they had much more in common than just quilting. To keep the mood light, the three women joked about starting their own quilting store together. After the retreat was over, the women kept in touch and decided that they wanted to make their joke into a reality. Their shop, Cottonwood Quilts, opened its doors in July of 2004.

Cottonwood Quilts is one of the most warm and welcoming environments in the area. With a fireplace in the center of the shop, and fabrics and quilts draped all around the room, you will surely want to come in out of the cold and stay for a while. The three women sell just about anything a quilter might need. From thread to rotary cutters, and patterns to machines, they have it all. They also have an large selection of fabrics including batiks, reproductions, florals and plaids. You can also find a number of items for the non-quilter, including books, candles and note cards.

With 25 years of combined quilting experience, the three women are definitely qualified to provide any advice or assistance that you might need. Cottonwood Quilts also offers weekly classes for all levels of quilters, from beginner to specialty classes for the advanced. One last helpful fact: You can always find at least one of the three women in the store, just in case you have a quilting emergency, or need a little help finding the perfect gift.

Our National Sales Director, Jackie, just happens to be a quilting fanatic herself. Jackie met the owners of Cottonwood Quilts, and together they picked out the perfect bags for the shop. They use an oatmeal merchandise bag printed one color, one side with their logo and store name on the front. They order both 8 ½ x 11 and 12 x 15 sizes to fit both their large and small products.
