A Common Thread is more than just a place to buy fabric. It's a place where family and friends can gather to find encouragement and advice on all of their creative ideas. The name "A Common Thread" is more than just a play on words, it's their vision: a community meeting and sharing place for those who love to create.

With an extensive selection of fabrics, books, tools, and the best equipment, A Common Thread is a quilter's wonderland. The company has recently moved to a fabulous location just down the street from a lovely garden park on Sequoia Parkway in Portland. They will be holding weekly classes in the park for beginners through experienced quilters so be sure to give them a call today!

A Common Thread is our very first quilt shop to use EF/Bags. They currently use an 18 x 18 + 5½ White degradable soft loop handle bag. Their bags are printed using red and teal ink on two sides. We are also working on two other degradable bags for A Common Thread. We have a 6 x 9 Merchandise bag, and an 11¼ x 7 x 15 T-Shirt bag in production for them.
